In over three decades of friendship, laughs, and tears, this is the friend you want to negotiate your case or settle the score! A smile as bright as the day is long, Kecia's witty personality, knack for mishaps, fun-loving spirt, and infectious laugh have kept us in stitches and "down for the cause" since day 1!

I met Lauvesa way back in these mean Macon streets! Since the days of our 7th grade gifted program, we led just about everything we were in! We co-captained the HS Dance Team, served up burgers at Hardees, and mastered the art of scholar by day and street by night! This is the Valedictorian of the crew. Even still, if "ride-or-die" was a meme, it would be Tesa!

Speaking of becoming a mother, this is my beautiful and talented daughter! She has shown me how to love endlessly and be steadfast in my goals, honest with myself, and fully confident...because she embodies all of that! Jasmine, no matter how much I say 'I love you', I love you more than that!

Definitely can't keep the tears back on this one! Nicky and I have seen every, single up and down life has to offer...TOGETHER! Fun fact: we both became mothers to our beautiful daughters in 2004! Sisters since age 10, there has been an unbreakable bond we have and I have sat front row and witnessed her unspeakable resilience to keep pushing, keep laughing, and keep giving praise!

Beautiful and creative, Amaris has been a gentle spirit and is equally fierce in her designs and artwork! With such care and charisma, I have witnessed her tackle all of Rick's "challenges" with tenacity and laughter. To my bonus daughter, can't wait for our next TikTok video ;-) !

I have known Zo all my life and he is much more of a brother than a cousin. As a child, nothing was more exciting than going to visit my cousins and nothing more upsetting than having to leave. Living less than 15 minutes away from each other, we have been able to create the same "close cousin / sibling" experience for kids. Oh! ...and when the DJ starts to play house music, make sure you find Lorenzo on the dance floor, you will be in for a treat!

Family is at the heart of everything Rubin does. He is my nephew, though I have often viewed him as a son. Now that he has grown up, he has transitioned from nephew to a friend, as he and I have experienced unique experiences and have travelled to multiple countries, reinforcing our unbreakable bond. His gregarious and comedic personality means that, at some point over the weekend, you are bound to say "Did he really say or do that?"

Politician, Activist and Comedian, Lud was an orator and activist who introduced me to what it meant to be "Woke" as a college freshman. Weaving intricate words, thought, and action ultimately led him to running for political office. The other side of Lud, which you will encounter first-hand from the moment you meet him, is that of storytelling and humor. Lud will effortlessly be the life of the party! Watch and see!
Derrick Ross

I met Derrick the first month of business school at Emory, and quickly became developed a kinship well before I realized that he too was a fine upstanding brother of Alpha Phi Alpha. Derrick is not only my first call when I am looking to get out the house on a Friday night, but also my first call to bounce around business ideas or on how we can take over the world. Not to mention he gives dope marriage advice 😊.

Sounding board, confidant, travel partner, personal development coach, fraternal brother, and the list goes on. For 30+ years, Darryl and I have run from Cookouts to Conferences. Sharing a passion for entertaining, Darryl has never met a stranger and has a way of making everyone feel welcomed. With his spirited personality and never-ending jokes, you would be surprised that this guy has more degrees than a thermostat.
Miles Hunter

"Money Miles", as my kids so affectionately call him, has a never-ending supply of $2 bills. My brother from another mother, Mr. cool, calm and collected is the designated driver and solid voice of reason. Miles and I consistently share memories and funny stories about he we both grew up, which has made us who we are today. Finally, let me just say: Miles is the co-founder of the infamous "Summer Cookouts", dating back to 1994. #IYKYK

Al was one of the first people I met at the ripe age of 17 when arrived at Hobart College. We pretty much did everything together (well, and co-led) on campus. Al stood right behind me as we crossed the burning sandz of Alpha Phi Alpha. Classmates said "Al and Rick" so often you would have thought it was one name. Can't leave this introduction without mentioning that fashion has always been this dude's middle name, wearing Ascots and blazers to class. Check out how he'll be!

This is my heartbeat and the reason why I work as hard as I do. My son has amazed me since birth, comprehending sophisticated concepts, and debating me on politics, economics and social issues well before he could reach the kitchen counter. My mini me keeps me young and on my toes and his newfound passion for sports has led to knowing every sports fact known to mankind. He's coming for your job Steven A!
